Delayed Injury Resulting from Bullying in School

Sandra Val Flatten has gone through cases about school bullying from the Norwegian court system. She discovered that none of the claimants (victim of bullying) has  succeeded in a claim for compensation against the local authority school where the basis for the claim is delayed injury as a result of bullying during school hours.

Sandra Val Flaatten is an adviser at Porsgrunn Pedagogical-Psychological Services in Norway. She is also the former leader of the Norwegian working group on International Network on School Bullying and Violence.
